Gold Panning in central FL?

Anyone ever had or hear of finding gold by panning in creeks or springs in Florida? Tried to google it but didn't get much. Not trying to get rich off it but would be a nice hobby to take up on my spare time. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Might be some in the northern parts of the state. I'm not sure. Suggestion.... get a metal detector and "pan" the beaches for lost gold! TTC

That map isn't correct. There is native gold in OK and TX.

The map shows gold in TX. If you read the page you would know that the map does not show all gold States.
