Gold prospecting outing on private land near Groveland Ca. Twenty members came out to try their luck and left with gold in

their pokes and the memory of a great day on the creek in the Mother Lode.

Good video. It looked like everybody was finding some gold. I bet the guy on his first time out was very happy. I do not have much experience yet, and I only pan right now, but I got out to try alot last summer and have not found any gold yet in Alabama. I thought California was warm year round but it looked like people were dressed for chilly temperatures. Is it cold there now ?
