Looks like you were in a swimming hole? Is it a dried up one or did you get wet? Nice finds, reminds me of my lake hunts.

Working the shoreline again? Nice recoveries on the gold and silver.

Awesome hunt

That hunt was above awesome. I have dug at least a dozen silver Catholic medals like those, but never a one made of gold. And I have probably dug a pocket full of non silver ones.

Your merc is a 1937.....not a 1921. Too bad, it would have been worth a few bucks if it was. Nice hunt!

I got a little wet, the water was ankle deep at most, I do wear my waders at this site often but not on this hunt. I always go when the tide is low.

Now that looks like an awesome day...and a sore night...lol. Congrats!!!

Dang, nice collection of finds! What kind of site were you hunting?

It was a shoreline, activity there dates from the mid 1800's until the mid 20th century. The most common coins there are mostly 1920's-1940's, although there are older ones that have been in the water so long they are unrecognizable - the IHC from this hunt for example is nearly impossible to see any details, while the wheat cents are legible.

Some great stuff there Underminer. Congrats! :occasion14:
