WHITES CLASSIC 3/ WHITES M 6
my sister & i got out this evening... we just went to a local school field about an hour before dark. i like doing the old baseball diamonds... we were there about ten minutes & i got a nice double hit... i had set my whites classic III way sensitive, (you have to if you want to find gold...) anyway first was a memorial cent... bla bla... then i scanned again & got what sounded like a nickel in the same hole... out popped a nice 9 gram, 14k gold braclet :headbang: "woo hoo, GOLD!" i yelled across the grass at my sis... she dropped her machine & came running. gotta love finding the gold!!!
here it is... happy trails all :hello:

Sweet, Thats a nice one! What was the VDI? Keep it up! J.

my whites classic III is an analog machine... there is no digital readout... over time i have learned to listen to what its telling me... you have to turn the sensitivity up past the arrow a bit... the other down under the "ring range" setting. i dig alot of pull tabs & shredded aluminum cans... the scratchy sounding stuff is usually trash so i pass that up... the M6 is digital but i let my sister use that one... the VDI on that would be about 18 for gold, with a very smooth low tone on the tone ID mode.
