maryland is not prospector friendly,and you can only pan,as far as i know, no high banking,or dredge,anything powered,the apalacian gold belt travels through most of maryland,with the exception of the pan handel area,but gold has been found in streams all over maryland,but you must obtain premission from land owners, as they own the creek bottoms,only the water is public.but there is a few flakes in maryland.good hunting
