I'm the "wrong" person to jump in here... but I'm going to post a new video either this week or next
showing it with the new "clay claw" as well. Not sure where you are or what you're running but it really
makes the the unit run well. Also, what pump are you considering.

Hello Doc, thanks for your time. I have a Honda WX15 pump and my claim is on the North Fork Feather River near Quincy, Ca. My material is mostly flat shale with lots of heavy stuff like hematite, pyrite, magnetite and black sand. Very little clay only in flood layers. Do you have plans to offer a back pack for transporting the unit? Thanks again for your time. Mike
I'm old school, duuhhh, so when the Bears shredded my Kelty external frame pack I kept the frame for freighting items in and out. I upgraded the waist belt and shoulder straps for more foam = Comfort! Might find an external frame at 2nd hand store But there is a Freighter Frame with attached ledge (for more support with heavy items) that is available, check out Cableas, REI and such. If you want to carry in 100 lbs it will do the trick if you can. With heavy loads or hiking rough country in general Solid Hiking sticks are worth having to keep ones balance, an extra leg or two is wise...................63bkpkr
