Sometimes it's rough and all you get is a blister/s. Been there so many times in 30 + years it ain't funny except to those people who stand there watching and waiting/betting to see if the hundreds of dollars you spent on that metal detector pans out and finds a treasure that will be broadcast worldwide and change the history books as we know them.... Also, believe me, there's a bunch of them out there...( I've been asked if I was a space-man) Those dang "no cash value" (arcade) coins they stamp out by the millions will make your heart turn a flip when you see that GOLD color shining at you. Don't get me wrong, I still like finding them...... By the way, it does your heart good to get above "normal rhythm"..... And, if you do it three or four times a week (dig a huge hole like a dozer could) it counts toward your exercise program....... So, if you find a few of those fake gold coins a week it WILL help your heart and could make you live longer. I love this job, don't you?......LOL!!!

I truly hate the signal those give on my Whites. Such a sweet, sweet sound, followed usually by some expletive on my part. Actually, always followed by some expletive. That one's a keeper though, never got one that torments you with the written word.
