Congrats on your new equipment! I just started getting in to the hobby. I hope one day to get one of those guys. Good luck with it.

thanks. I aint sure on Pennsylvania laws on highbanking but ill look into it

so highbanking should be fine if ur not dredging or am I reading this wrong?

I read it real quick and maybe if you set it up above the high water mark of the river and figured a way to get water up there (recirc system or whatever) it might get around the bs rule what do you think ms. chls, my buddy/pal:) Or if anyone else saw that possible interpretation chime in

I've never heard of them giving anyone the required permit. As far as being above the high water mark...

"METHODS AND EQUIPMENT NOT REQUIRING PERMITS
• Non-motorized pans, shovels, pan or dish-type hand classifiers and picks.
• Non-motorized sluice boxes, sieves, concentrators and mini-rocker boxes."

I read that part I was asking if he could set up the machine above the river haul material or maybe dig in a old bench with a recirc as I didn't see that outlined but that's why these threads end up failing in the long run because they will just write that stipulation in next year so it's a no win situation to discuss it and figure out what you can still do.

red tape!!!! hahahaha
