I have an opportunity to buy several of these locally. Has anyone owned anything from this company before? I've heard of the Elemental Mint but only know about their silver products.

Obviously it's impossible to tell if they're authentic or not from photos, they must be examined in person. Serial number is blocked out in photo.

The company was ordered to pay $15 million by the U.S. government for failing to prevent employees of its Miami-based subsidiary from importing illegally sourced gold from Latin America. The employees were charged and convicted of smuggling billions of dollars worth of gold acquired from drug traffickers.

No experience.
Just be really careful - lots of extremely good fakes out there!!

On the other hand, I'll just mention that I made $2,200 profit when Dogecoin (cryptocurrency) skyrocketed in price several weeks back.
So, I decided I would get an "actual" Dogecoin off Amazon.
It's not real, and I knew it wasn't when I bought it. It was more for "show-n-tell" around the office and what not..

Anyway, it got me to thinking:
The fake Dogecoin from Amazon is probably more valuable than the actual Dogecoin currency right now (which is hovering around $0.30 as I type this). :)

But at $1700-$1800 an ounce, that's not likely in the cards for actual gold bullion!

As they say: "Caveat Emptor"

I've never purchased any gold or silver bars i couldn't put my fingers on to test.
fancy heat sealed bars entrapped in difficult to open plastic should be questioned
i always bought from long established foundry's direct, cut out the scammers.
this is just my opinion.

if you have the opportunity to buy gold at some sort of "discount"... DON'T. Gold is readily available at current spot prices.

it would
certainly help if you tell us how much they were asking.

No, it would not. While they are indeed real gold and theoretically a decent buy at spot price or less, it is against my personal ethics to purchase them. Apparently I'm not the only one that thinks this way, as this company's products were pulled off of the major exchanges. This is why I couldn't find them for sale anywhere.

There will be other opportunities.
