Found these two items in an semi-urban area that has history but has not had much foot traffic in a long time. There was very little trash so I was digging foil and tab signals, otherwise I probably would have missed the small ring. It's about 1.5 grams and tested 18K.
The spoon handle tested mostly nickel. I'd love to know more about the maker "Y. S. & Co." so I can date activity at that site. I've looked at the typical silver ID websites and have come up empty so far.
