Gold and silver at Applegate Park

Got out with a local detectorist at the park today and after enduring a ton of trash managed some gold and silver. Found a lot of change, some junk jewelry, a heavy silver ring, and a thin 14k gold chain I thought was trash because the locket on it was plated. Doesn't appear to be original to the locket. Glad I took the time to free the chain from the dirt without breaking it.

Great finds, very nice collection of pull tabs and bottle caps. When I get asked what I'm looking for I like to tell people I collect rare and unusual pull tabs

Used to have jars full of the things let my brother melt them down and turn them into aluminum ingots lol
