My first coin show is tomorrow. I will be selling 460 40% ($230 face value) and maybe 80-90% ($40 face value). No, I know it is not like the whopping sales I have seen on the Net as of late. As you know, I have a wedding coming in April, and this is one really good way to help pay for all those extras.

Silver closed today a tad over $22.00.

What should I really expect to walk away with?

Any comments are appreciated.

You should almost get $60 a roll for 40% if not more. If not dump it on ebay in a 3 day auction and get your money there. The 90% should get you at least 90% melt.

Someone got 6 to 1 on the 40's this week.
Good luck

Actually it was 3 to 1, price quoted was for the lot so you had to divide by 2. Took me awhile to figure out because I was really ticked when I turned in some 40% the other day and only got 2.90 a piece.

I would not take less than $2K for the lot.

$60 per roll for the 40% and spot for the 90%

also known as 6 bucks to 1 buck of 40%, like gambling odds, can be read either way

GL apush but would try not to go the ebay route... the fees will get you, plus there are so many scams on ebay

I just sold some stuff recently at a coin show (my first). Make sure you go around to every booth and ask what they are paying. It might not hurt to bring a notebook and keep track of the prices. By the time I got around to every booth, I had forgotten who gave the best price. lol. I made a guess, and somehow managed to get the right guy. Most of the places were offering around 11-13 times face (this was about two weeks ago, when silver was around $21.18 or so). I sold at about 90% melt.
