Godspeed, my friend

At approximately 0500 this morning, an air medivac flight returning after transferring a patient, carrying two pilots, a nurse and paramedic, crashed while on final approach to the Grand Manan airport. The paramedic and chief pilot lost their lives and the co-pilot and nurse are seriously injured. My thoughts and prayers go out to their families. Our EMS community, our family, is small. We lost a co-worker, a brother and I also lost a friend. I had the opportunity to work as his partner for almost 4 years as well as to build a friendship outside of work. If and when you see it on the news, could you please send a prayer or thought to the family...they are shattered. Thank you guys. Godspeed, my friend.
