My monthly goal is 10oz. Maybe I set the bar too high and made it unrealistic to the amount of searching needed to aquire this amount.

Just wondering if others have a weekly or mothly target you aim for other than as much as possible.

This month I sorted

6 boxes of cents / 28.3 loose - 104 Wheats, 108 Canadian, 38.1 FV
12 boxes of nickles - 11 War nickles, 3 Buffalo
12 boxes of dimes 74.00 loose - 10 rosies, 2 mercs
14 boxes of halves - 41 @ 40%, 5 @ 90%

I just have a yearly 90% & 40% fv goal for 2012:

90% silver goal: $250 fv
40% silver goal: $500 fv

I just keep my figures in fv. It's much simpler that way and junk silver/silver coinage is usually bought & sold in terms of fv.

But so far this year is looking good and if my success with 90% halves continues I'll likely reach my 90% goal before my 40% goal.

I've got 3 half boxes to search tonight & I'll post my Feb totals & current ytd totals later tonight or tomorrow.

H$H!

My goal was to find 100 silver dimes. The search is going pretty well, so I may need to up that total if I can continue to work the volume.

My life experience tells me that CRH goals should be activity goals rather than silver quantity goals. By that I mean that my set goal is something that I can control (number of boxes searched) rather than something I can't control (number of silver coins found in those boxes).
