I lucked out and was able to get 3.5 hours or hunting in today so I went back to the castle house. With snow on the ground I was wooed to the sunny part of the property, which was also the MUDDY side of the property. I was a mess. I wandered over to the front lawn which was sunny and not muddy. Much more pleasurable. After digging my 4th or 5th piece of foil, I was about to ignore those signals. I said, "this is my last foil signal I'm digging." It was tough to pinpoint, but I found this little eagle crest (flat back, and photo also shown in my hand so you can see how small it is). NJLARGECENT seems to think it's off a military hat, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

I also found these floral pieces (middle one looks like a pin of some sort). All three were found next to each other.

Tag from Spratt's Patent Limited, the first major dog biscuit manufacturer in the US, circa 1880-1885 (in 1885 they moved to NJ)

Found this really heavy egg shaped thing that rang up as a penny :dontknow:

And some psych-outs: what I thought was a thimble but is a light bulb, what I thought was a gold earring but is a rivet, and this other patented piece which is a part from a air sprayer.

And finally, 3 wheats and 2 memorials.
