Hi All,
Me and knorrski got out yesterday for about 3 hours and as usual the honey hole didn't disappoint.Knorrski scored a nice large mans silver ring and a prayer token and pendant while I found a Larry the Cable Guy working lighter that says"GIT-R-DONE" when you open it and a South of The Border good luck token. We both combined for the following coin totals:54q,47d,9n,114p,1cp for 225 coins, pretty good for a few hours. We have a few older homes to hit in the next couple of days so hopefullywe can add some older coins to the mix.

Every time you post I am blown away.

What kind of spot are you hunting? Not a location or anything but is it a swimhole, park? what?

Keep em coming
Deadshot

alwayslookin,
the area is about 20 years old,its a mix of on the surface to about 3 in deep.

deadshot,
its a soccer/baseball area with lots of grass and gravel parking, and I love hunting parking areas!

you two have to be the most consistant hunters on the board! almost always you guys have giant clad and jewelry hauls!! this damn heat has had me sidelined for a couple of weekends but i might have to say screw it and go for it anyway after reading this post! awesome digs!!

There are a lot of gravel parking areas around where I hunt but darn they are almost impossible to dig, just kinda' scratch the surface. It takes a good 15 minutes just to dig out a penny at 2"! How do you dig in the gravel? It's all compacted screenings here. Do you have loose gravel to dig in or what? JIM

Wow! Guys, another great haul, WTG!!!
Get' er Done, & Happy hunting~

for my gravel huntin i almost never dig deeper than 2 in and when i dig i twist the trowel from side to side to left the rocks and gravel instead of trying to dig into them.it works pretty good for me.alot of times they are just under the surface.
