I just wanted to get some new ideas from those who adorn gifts on their favorite tellers.

Here are mine:

1. Scratch-off lottery tickets
2. Lunch at Christmas for the bank crew (generally a Subway party tray with the fixings)
3. At one of my banks, the head teller always carts my coins out to my car. I tip and then funds go into a "pizza fund" for the tellers once enough is collected

Just wanted some new or unique ideas.

I once pulled a Quarter that had the trademark edges, but it was a Colorado-P Quarter. I took it to the coin shop, and the guy offered me $0.35 for it and said it was either Silver plated or Platinum plated. I got a small flip for it and gave it to one of my teller buddies, since she's from Colorado.

Old coins are a favorite of mine, nothing too expensive and nothing that looks like circulating currency, but things like Barber dimes, it doesn't matter that they are only in good condition, if the teller sees a date of 189X they won't care about condition and think that you must have spent a fortune for it :laughing9:

Also, gift cards for places like Sonic are always good.

This is origional. A nice big box of chocolates for each bank, maybe something little for each teller.

I once tried to 'tip' a young teller a Walker, as she was the recipient of LOTS of half dumps, but once she saw it, she freaked. "I can't take money!" Wow. Won't try that again. I tried to tell her it was only worth about $10 (been a while back).

Now, I go to a local cupcake place and drop a 1/2 dozen at my pickup and dump banks. These are gourmet cupcakes, so they LOVE them. They're real big, and go for > $22.00 1/2 dozen. Yeah it eats into the profits, but how else can an old fat man get young hot chicks to talk to him? :tongue3: :tongue3:

PS, don't tell my girlfriend...........
