I guess Larson got tired of the rocks that I post, or maybe felt sorry for me, and wanted to see me have a successful post. So, he gave me one! One on the house! Thanks! I have a family owned business, and a low chance of being fired. Thank goodness, I'm still at work, and still can't get any thing done for looking at every detail of every remarkable piece he sent me. They are great! The points he sent are so different but yet so similar to the ones here it is amazing. The ND. points seem to be much thinner than most in NC. But, the blades almost identical. The pottery , well, I don't know, never found but one or two pieces in NC. Enough comparing. Thank you Larson! What better way to preserve a culture than distribute it to the ones who will. This will go in a frame with North Dakota on it. He also sent a stick to flip stones with. I think this will help me a lot . If I don't bend down as often, maybe I won't feel as obligated to brings field rocks home. Here is a sample of what was sent!

Man yes! Larson has bound to be one good soul. The stick is nice too. Have you used yours yet? I think good luck lies in the stick. Bound to, because he is able to give stuff away that I would have framed, and will frame. You are right, those mail box finds are so pretty and different and easy on the back and no dirt in my pockets... How far should I go? River rat, I hope things are drying out around you. You didn't want the river to find the rat did you? Good luck and happy hunting to you!

Steve is as good as they come. He has the mojo and has a kind heart to share his amazing finds:occasion14:.

For sure !! He sent some really nice stuff. I wish I had something as nice to share with him and all of you guys, but I don't. Maybe he put some of that mojo in the stick. If so, I'll be sending culture out!!

That's awesome

It truly is!! I'm still just looking at them. They are the only pieces in my collection that didn't come from Nc, Va, or Sc .

You share your hunts. That is a lot.

Larson seems to be a nice and generous person. He would be a GREAT and generous person if he took me out to find an arrowhead. LOL As much as I hunt in Michigan I cannot find one.

You will. Keep on. I had family that put me directly on hunting grounds. The grounds are the hard part to find.

Didn't mean to imply that I have never found an arrowhead. Just have never found one in Michigan where I live most of the year.

Those N. Dakota artifact's. are great, I agree they are the most interesting artifact's that I have ever seen. Larson is a good friend.

He is a great guy . The finds are like none that I have ever seen. I wander why they have such wide stems. The stemmed part is as wide as the thickest part of the whole point.

That's because they are notched.that's not a true stem. That was wider than the shaft and cordage was wrapped in the notch to hold it on. Probably with animal adhesive also.
