I'm watching too.

Watching a meteor shower is great. Watching one in FL. Is hella great!! It's about 40 degrees cooler than I prefer here in ol Nc.

32 here. 32. Freezing, literally. I know it's colder in other areas. I just hate cold weather.

Try climbing a tree in the dark and watch a sun rise and see the sun hit that heavy frost, Priceless!

I have done it many times, and you are 100% correct. It's times like those that while the extreme cold or heat away, and simply take your breath. I shouldn't say "I hate the cold". I love warm weather, and extreme heat doesn't bother me as bad as the cold, but, I really would miss the heck out of nature's beautiful winter scenery. Thank you for making me dig deeper into my heart and soul. I have a feeling you knew that was just a superficial thoughtless remark, and not the real me.

I was gonna stay up, or get back up, and watch the meteors last night but it clouded over, oh well. I do a little bit of photography. Took this shot back in October up on Kerr Lake, it's a stack of 99 exposures with the center/focal point being the Polaris, the North Star:

Was hoping to get some similar shots but with meteorites and their trails in the mix, next time.

Well the cold is bad for you now but it does bring the rocks to the surface just in case you werent aware of that. Every yr I throw the rocks over my fence just before winter and have to do it again after winter. Best artifact hunting is in the spring.

Thanks Rock for the knowledge. I didn't know that. It does make sense. Cool!!

I'll be at Buggs Island (Kerr Lake) tomorrow. My pops, Joe (Twitch), and I will be out hunting hard before the water rises. Come join us!

Going to be hard to sleep.....lol

It is now Sunday and it started raining here about 8 am. Now it has rained all day so there should be some new finds for me as soon as it dries out. I hope you found some good stuff!
