Gift from God!

Sorry I missed it. I heard it might be the best one this year. Glad you enjoyed it!

I truly enjoyed it last night up to around 1:15 this morn. Some were just a fade...a few very bright.

I saw that on my way to work this morning too. I'm in Kentucky and I saw some big bright firey ones. What a show!!

It wasn't the best shower I have seen, but still just a true gift. Some were huge, and directly on the horizon. Great stuff!!! It's the finer things in life, do many just walk by, or under, in this case!

lol i seen you post this last night and i stepped outside (in my 6 million dollar man pajamas) i looked up didn't see anything realized it was 25 degrees out and ran back in and made coffee. Thanks for making me go through that. So will there be more showers tonight that you know of cause I could try putting my ice cream sandwich imprinted long underwear on undernieth maybe id last longer. Those pajamas are pretty thin! Tried to find them with the plastic feet in the bottom and the front zipper but they dont make that one in the 6 million dollar man.

The peak was Thursday night/Friday morn, but they will be here until the 17th, at which time they leave for another engagement. Friday night might do the trick. Always best to look after midnight, early AM till predawn is always best where meteor showers are concerned, so really, Saturday morning is your best shot.

Should see a few tonight. Last night was the peak with 25 meteors an hour. You had to stand and stare at a spot for a while. You are right, it was a cold one. Lol! The best ones seemed close to the horizon. I have seen better showers, this is an annual shower. Tonight, well, here anyway, shouldn't be as cold. It's worth waiting a while. Google it to make sure they will still be going tonight. Look up Gemini meteor shower. That isn't the actual name of it, but it has to do with the Gemini constellation. My constellation!!

Thanks for the visual image in my brain....to much info.

Too cloudy here in Austin,tx. tonite to see them.

I was in my tree stand at 5:00 am this morn and watched it. I did not know it was supposed to happen. I usually just doze until first light but it was really good.

Did it freak you out? Just think about what the natives thought when they saw these things.

Hey NC you going hunting tomorrow?

That's a neat thought! I bet they looked alive.

Its for those poor school children and staff. Also their families and anyone else affected.
