Gifs, Pics, and More

I noticed several problems here.

1. You did not set out advanced guards and flankers.

2. You did not protect the flanks at all, from what I hear. All it would take is an unprotected flank to be attacked, and the whole command would have been taken from the rear.

3. NO BAYONETS!?

That being said, well done on surviving the battle.

No time for the Poppy Cock protocol. We were engaged as we stammered over the last ridge near Tupelo. Letter opener and pocket knife in hand we engaged the bearhugger, sapsuckers with all we had. At one time I ordered the first sergeant to hand me the tire tool. It was getting that bad. After having enough of the rebel and rebellet the battalion of Yanks had had way more than they bargained for. If AAA had gotten there in time, the Yanks would have taken a whooping more than the battle of Okolona.:laughing7:

KCM!!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!

It is soooooo good to hear from you! How have you been?

Thought I already covered that. Didn't ya' get the gif memo?? :tongue3:

Doing OK here. Winter came real early this year, and has brought plenty of cold and wind with it. Still trying to get the turf bar on my snow plow fixed so I'm not ripping up the yard.

Have also been troubled with an old ankle injury. Guess ya'll can officially start calling me Gimpy. :dontknow:

The fact of the matter is, my friend, proper engagement protocol was not engaged, and could have led this army into disaster. Perhaps orders were misunderstood?:dontknow:

I am glad you gimped over to this site. On occasion, I have checked the other site just to make sure you were still behaving. Forgot all my information so all I have done is checked.

That’s kinda morbid.

Ah, but part of the fascinating history of the Civil War.They did all kinds of things with bodies back then, including target practice, and photo ops.

There was one group of soldier wandering a battlefield, and they noticed a hand out of the dirt, from improper burial. One soldier placed a hardtack cracker in his hand, and said, "well at least he didn't go hungry!" Different times back then.

So here’s a pic of a couple things I couldn’t let go. The plastic basket and in it was my baby picture and baby shoes, and my grandmothers pin cushion. She died in 1968. I remember my mom told me that the needles and threads were just as she left it. Kinda frozen in time.

Wow! Glad you made it through relatively safe. We ventured towards the CWAZ last night. Got close, but didn't enter, so we were unnoticed.

After seeing that Bud Light can on Roger's table, I was guessing that Roger had some company from out of state :tongue3:
