All those dark objects in the pics were pieces of iron and scrap metal from the oil rigs including bits of steel cable. It makes it darn near impossible to run in relic mode. I was swinging away anyway and got a signal that went off and even at disc 10 sounded good. Laying partially uncovered was what lookded like a jar made of milk glass. I checked it and it still gave a good signal. I saw that it was made to come apart-now here I'm thinking Oh Boy! Well when I opened it, it turned out to be a ladies compact type container with a copper/brass insert. Shucks! Nothing but what remained of powder-no coins.?
I went on to find partially buried, a porcelin doll with the arms and legs missing. I was able to find the arms a foot or so away but she is still legless and also suffered a labotomy (aka-broken head) HaHa! Thus the nickname CSI doll.
Another area sounded off and I found a small ornate brass valve of some kind. Maybe a gas valve? I did find a couple of intact jars but have no markings on them. There is also a brass handle that is somewhat ornate. I had also found a milk glass cold cream jar with the lid still intact.
