German helmet & some more.

Hi !!

I don't know where to put it.... ::) So, it's here.
Another find from Poland. Not a coin, but it was found with detector too.... ;D

First, photos "straight out of the ground"...
Today helmet looks much better, but i don't know if i can show You a photo of it.
There is an "Waffen SS" sign on it... If it is not against the law in United States, I will show You, how does it look like, today.
It is still incomplete, i need a few elements to finish it... But looks good. ;D

Greetings Matejko

Re: World War II, German helmet.

HELMET RUSTY WITH REMAINS OF SS DECAL = $200-300. REPAINTED WITH CRAPPY DECAL = $75-100.00

;D ;D ;D

I know that almost everythink cleaned is less valueable then original looking stuff.
I"m not worried about the price of my helmet now, as I wrote earlier.: It looks better now, this is the point.
Does not make any difference to me, how does it's price looks like now.... ;)

In Poland we have a lot of this stuff, if I want to I can just by myself one.
Helmets are not so expensive.... Take a look.

Smells like SPAM, but it is not.... You cannot buy anything without registration. :-))

I've got a ring too, Morris. But mine is Russian dated around 1870-1915.
Show me the photo of brother's in law German ring.
Meantime, take a look at mine .

Pozdrawiam Matejko

Re: German helmet & some more.

Here is a picture of a SS ring that I found in a midwest school yard back in the 1970's or 1980's. A kid must have taken his Dad's souvenir to school for show and tell.

Re: German helmet & some more.

Great condition, congrats !!

Once I've met someone who found exactly the same ring in the forest of Kampinos, nearby Warsaw.
The difference is only that, he found a finger in it too.... ::)

Great find !

Pozdrawiam Matejko

Re: German helmet & some more.

battle of the buldge: way too many unexploded shells many are gas shells from WWI. lots of people do it even though its off limits.
I'll go $100.00 for the SS ring for my collection. but it is worth more.

Re: German helmet & some more.

i can see why you fell in love with that bayonet! it is beautiful!!

Re: German helmet & some more.

Matejko,

I know it's a long shot, but is there any way that you would sell that ring?
I really don't know how much it's worth or anything but it strikes something with me>
Let me know if you might consider selling it...

Matejko,
?
? ? ?I think it's ok, as long as you don't try to sell it on ebay or other.

What are you talking about? There are tons of German Nazi era stuff on ebay. I have never heard of WWII german artifacts being illegal here in the US. It is part of history no matter how wrong it was. Forgetting it would be a big mistake.

Re: German helmet & some more.

No sir what you dont understand he cant send anything it is illegal to send WWII german artifacts
out of poland that is where he is from.

Ah, I understand. Nice stuff regardless. Is that a deaths head ring you have posted ? I read about those someplace. I think they are very rare.
