Went up to the Sierras with my brother MD'ing.
Had a great time.

The find of the day was a Gerber Multi-tool. :thumbsup:
We also found some square nails, old bullets, cartridge cases, strap buckle and did I say....the Gerber Multi-Tool? :hello2:
Found two "ball bearings" or "Governor weights"...??? Severely rusted. We thought they were musket balls but they were steel, so they aren't.

You could say the Mutli-Tool was planted.....because it has a plant growing out of it. :laughing7:

I took a closer look at the mushroomed bullet next to the nails...there is animal matter all inside the mushroom area. Eyew.
Sort of looks like freeze dried meat.

I always wonder about stuff like that myself when I find mushroomed bullets. Must have been a good shot! :laughing7:
