George Washington and Seated Silver

Got out yesterday to with the XP Deus HF Round coil and dug some interesting items. Union R Button, 1858 US dime, Jacksonian Period Washington Commemorative Button with George Washington's bust on the front (referenced in Albert's button book, page 415- PC48). I also dug a very thick reeded and odd sized coin that I'm still trying to clean the crust off of to ID it?

It was just a thought. I also use a brass brush between several short rounds of electrolysis.

I may try the brass brush, but the coin is so brittle.

Ok I think you will find that you have some version of this John Breckinridge ferrotype. I can see the OH near the bottom then the ECKI near the top. Cool find man
