Sounds like a really good trip! Looks like ou had a nice day! If I had a son, I would rather spend the day with him then go metal detecting.

Sad News, The fella's picture that I posted in here, enjoying fishing with his two kids. He always said, " This Is What It's All About " Drowned today while out water hunting. :'(. His name was Tom Weaver 'aka' Migolddigger on greatlakesmetaldetecting.com forum He went water hunting with his fiancee', and his two kids this morning at a lake in Caseville Michigan, and his fiancee' said he was out further than he usually goes, and for some unknown reason he just went down and never came back up. He was in chest deep water, he was not a diver, so he always wade hunted. he could swim like a fish, was a former Marine, and was the nicest person you ever met. He will be greatly missed.........Not GE

Man I just don't know what to say. Yes it is sad. I hate to get bad news like this. Our prayers goes out to his family. I'm sure he will be missed. Thanks for the information. This is really sad.

It so sad. I just can't believe it. 4ft of water. I wish I could have been there to help him. God Bless his family. I know they will miss him. Everytime I go fishing my little one I'll remember him. So sad.
