Now that would be tough! I can only imagine how happy the landowners were with receiving a gold stater. Plus it probably guarantees unlimited hunting on their land. I commend you and Cru'Dad for doing that.

So we got our tour today, and the house is fantastic. It's been empty for 35 years, but the people are working hard to maintain it. Like I said they are only here for about a week every year. They did foundation repair last year, along with an exterior paint job. There is still plenty to do, but I'm glad they are not letting it rot away. We were there for a couple of hours, and got quite the history lesson along with the tour. Here's a few shots.
