Wow - If I've figured it out correctly, My Ford F-250 Superduty pulls about 25 litres/100km! About 5km/ltr?
Bet it goes though and could pull a tank up hill backwards torque wise.
Mines a 2 litre Atkinson cycle. Quick, I'll give it that, but not a lot of torque.
I used to drive a Nissan XTrail Deisel 2 litre with a Renault engine. Had double the torque. Got 7 litres per 100ks. But this Kia with half that blows it away acceleration wise. I had some issues with pinging with it recently. Its supposed to run on 91 octane. I put a tank full with a good cleaner through it recently then filled when near empty with 98 octane. What a difference! No pings and it flies. But its supposed to run on 91. 98 here is 12 cents per litre dearer. So I did this, half filled with 91, half 98. Its ok. Im thinking our 91 has become inferior recently. Previously I thought it had a fault. Now im convinced our fuel here has been dropped octane wise. 😠
We do here have one of the lowest grade unleaded fuels in the world.
Im convinced in the past yr they have dropped our octane in it now after what iv tried recently and experimented with. I thought my knock sensor was an issue. I now believe it's our Aussie fuel.

I got reg gas yesterday at $4.55, today same station is $4.75.

all the roads here are Being Tared with Oil and Stone
Which Means Long waits to get out of the valley or Long Drives Around the Mountains . by the time I can use that 10 cents I'm sure the Present prices will be Gone

Electric cars? And they are already talking about brownouts and blackouts this summer? Who do they think they are kidding? Electric cars are a joke. So...who wants to be first to have a brand spanking new NUCLEAR REACTOR a few miles from where they live. I guess the idiots think electricity is magic.

Gas here in 29Palms, California varies from $5.49 to nearly $6, depending on the vendor. In the large metropolitan cities, gas is nearing $7 per gallon. But remember it is higher in Europe, and elsewhere. Germany is nearly $9 per gallon.

In the early 70's it was 25 cents per gallon, and as a child in the mid 50's, it was around 10 cents
