Hello People 
I am brand new to both the hobby and the forum.
My husband got me a Garrett GTA 350 at a pawn shop for $100. We also have an older radio shack MD we haven't used in years. I was wondering if any of you were familiar with the 350. And, if so; any pointers, observations or suggestions
Lotsa days I have trouble getting around, so I've only been playing in my own yard so far.; but i have a 'wealth' of nails, nuts+bolts, tabs, and 3 of my dog's collars! Boy, he hated them!
I gotta say I've learned so much just reading this forum for the past coupla weeks. Seems like an amazing bunch of people.
When I swing over coins I've placed, I get sound, same with silver rings; however when I swing over one of my 14K bracelets...nuttin. What's up with that?
Anyone ever Md at race tracks, or are they usually private property?
We plan on taking the camper down to the outer banks of NC, come around the 25th for a coupla weeks. I've heard that you can't MD on Hatteras nat. seashore, but I think you can at Nag's Head. Oh well, we'll see. Oh ya, the 350 can't do water, right?
