Garrett to whites?

You can't beat the XLT for pulling coins out of parks loaded with pull-tabs, bottlecaps, screw caps, plumbing parts, etc. While the XLT may get some well earned time off, it'll still be my "go to" machine when headed for "trash park city" and looking to have another "century day!" Tt

Back in the day, the XLT was my favorite machine, and I tried a few. It was the only machine that could tell difference between a silver dime and a copper penny. Really like the highly versatile programming too.

I agree, CC. Once you have the settings for an area there is not a lot of adjusting to do on the XLT.

I bought a used XLT and used it for a couple years it was an upgrade for me going from a quantum 2 it took a while like any new detector to get used to it but once I did I loved it my wife was using a classic ID I came across a good deal on a used DFX so I sold her classic and put the money to the DFX and gave her the XLT we were searching around a yard my first time with the DFX and her first time with the XLT after about 1/2 hour she complained that she thought something was wrong with the XLT I assured her it was working fine but she kept complaining so I let her take my DFX when I walked off the the XLT I took 4 steps over an area I had just gone with the DFX and got a real nice hit dug up a 1940 quarter... in the end I proved to her there was nothing wrong with the XLT but wonder how I missed that quarter with the DFX.. but after several time out wife is wishing she had her classic back seems she just can't adjust to the XLT even using presets it is just to complicated for her so I think I will just try to find another classic ID for her and keep the XLT as a back up or for guests
