Garret Predator 3

Hows it goin everyone? Ive been reading the posts on this site for a pretty long time now and have enjoyed it very much, so much in fact that I have decided to add the first post of my own. Ok, on to the question. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Garrett Predator 3 and if they found it to be a reliable detector. Any feed back would be appreciated. One more quick question, where can I find kiddrock's post on the iron chest? Thanks.

idid own a predator111 and only kept it a couple months it is the same as the ace 300 made by garrett for kellyco with a few blinking lights.it is very hard to pinpoint with and is not a very deepseeking detector.it will find a lot of shallow coins.if you don't already own it buy the garrett ace 250 much deeper and easy to pinpoint with.212 dollars a big bang for your bucks.

I would first like to thank everyone for their replies. I havent been able to get on in a while and this is the first time I have read the posts. Well I have already bought the Predator 3 but on my receipt it mentions how I can trade up for a new one. I think I may be screwed on that too because the old lady threw out some important papers I got with the detectorI have one more question regarding the effectiveness of the detector. If I were to buy a smaller coil would it increase the depth of my detector? If not, does anyone wanna trade for an Ace250?

the small coil will not increase your depth.you will get less with yhe small coil but better trash to goody seperation.iy picks between the targets to tell the good from the bad so only one target shows at a time.
