Third picture is what I looked like walking back to car after digging hahaha 😆. With the slight breeze and dry weather I also need to add an N95 to my gear pile for here.

When I get towards the end of my creek walking season I often dig an an old ash dump. It's so big that you have to just go with your gut on which direction to dig and hope to get some items. From my experiences here last fall and over the weekend it seems to be in the late 1880s to around ww1 range. No owens Illinois bottles in it. It's generally been better for eyeballing relics than it has bottles. The pocket of local sodas I got into were all smashed up except the registered full pint whiskey. The Philadelphia blob top with eagle embossed on it was a bummer. I haven't got an id on it yet.

Other fun finds: another clay marble from here, a doll set tea cup or creamer? , lense to a pair of glasses, parasol slide and what I think is a cane topper Parasol handle??? I figured it was a bottle cap but there's woody material in the top and it's not threaded.
