Hi All,

New to this forum and to any forum actually, so I'm sorry if I am going about this the wrong way.

I own a rocking chair which I believe is of some value but I have no idea how to get a valuation to auction it. Can you help me? Photos ready.

Thank you
Still need pictures to help you.

I hope these photos help!

Need pictures of the bottom, and closeup of any writting.

Welcome to Tnet.

Any of the larger auction houses will give you a pre-sale estimate for what they think it might fetch, to help you set a reserve price. I don’t think you’re sitting on a fortune though. This Victorian one appears to have a very similar frame but is in poor condition, requiring a new seat. It sold for £22 ($28) in 2021:

Admittedly, yours is in much better condition, but I wouldn’t expect it to get much beyond three figures.

This narrower one (said to be child-sized) was also sold in the UK, but the price isn't given. Is yours full-sized?
