Fruit/canning jar help please

I think I am, and there are half pint Lightning jar auctions posted on the link Sterling gave me early on this thread. Weird, but I could be wrong. Late at night here, will have to check that and the new link to the Bob Clay page that Diggum listed. I appreciate your interest and tomorrow I will even try the liquid test again. Does anyone know if the pints held a full 16 oz's? I am asking cuz a 2 by 4 isn't really 2" by 4" and a 3 by 5 flag isn't really 3' by 5' if everyone gets where and why I am asking such a question. Gonna hit the hay for tonight, but I will do some more research tomorrow morning.

Diggum......................I sent an email to the address from Ebay, but that was also returned. The poor guy has probably shut it down due to inquiries like mine. I will keep researching though.

Are you sure your looking at the right jar?? If it was known to exist an had alot of value it would be in the Fruit jar redbook which has prices for over 10.000 fruit jars.. So either I am not looking at the right jar or you are geting your confused with another.. like I have said before 20 jars could look exactly the same to a untrained eye but to someone who has been dealing with jars for awhile they could be 20 different jars...

Creeper, check the 29th one down on this page, very similar to mine, but mine is more green tinted, and listed as half pint: North American Glass - Collectors Gallery
