From The Woods In Upstate NY

Well as my first post/pic ...I found this "map?,carved into a rock wall near a old bent Oak tree.......any takers?.......i kinda kinow what it means...i hope..lol

I have adjusted the pics to better see everything..since its on Film ,not digital....and yes its the only things on the rock itself or around....

Possibly a mine?....or a X marks the spot....
And yes this is a Treasure legend lead here in upstate NY

Theta Delta Chi, a college fraternity founded in upstate NY. Cool find.

And the year of 1860. Check the history of that fraternity to see if that's the year of founding. Perhaps there's a "Time Capsule" buried nearby put there by the first members.

Wow i did look it up,Union Collage is far far away from this site "about a hour to 2 " up in the North Country...way out of any civilzation.......
Its the above Delta symbol with the 3 lines goin though it that is strange....could it mean a branching of a creek near a mountian?....
