From the great Redding, CA!

Hey, everybody. I'm new to Redding, CA. Since I'm new to the area I was wondering if anyone could give me suggestions on where to search, old buildings, parks, gold mine, etc... I really want to find some cool stuff. The only thing cool I've ever found is a 1942 Silver Half-Dollar. Any help would be much appreciated!
