Friday's Estate Finds. Fenton, Peter Max, Sterling Rosary and More

Purchased all this at one sale today. Spent $40.

First are these 4 pieces of Fenton Silver Crest, "Violets in the Snow".

Next is this Jewelry casket with Cherub legs and beveled glass lid

A Peter Max Notebook binder, a small bit of damage but it was only a dollar.

Pics must be too large wouldn't upload.

Then we have the sterling rosary with glass beads, a couple wooden Bulgarian perfume bottles, and some really ugly pendant that isn't marked but is handmade, I think it's garbage but it was only a dollar so I took a chance.

Also were a few books. The Gnome book (1st ed.) is signed by the author. The book of Polish Kings needs more research, it's a 1st edition 1961 written in Polish though. These were also a dollar each.

I have another item that I need some info on but I will post it on a separate thread.

I love Peter Max. I got to meet him personally at his studio in NYC. Got to go in his work area and look at half finished pieces and stuff. I wish I had asked him for a paintbrush or something.

Nlce stuff ! I have a Gnome book - same one !

Good to see you buying again! Sometimes I don't know what I'm looking at but you give me hours of research to do and you lead the way to learning something where I knew nothing.

Great buys!

Nice finds! I really like that fenton!

My mom would love that Fenton, she's got a ton of it in our house (about half of it's on display and the other half of it's put up)!

My book has what appears to be a signature but it could be a part of the book printing, it's hard to tell because it looks like it was done with a felt tip marker. Does your book have this same signature in it-

I like Fenton myself. I usually buy it when I see it, like the little amberina hobnail shoe that I found today for .50. I have another box full of the same silver crest with the violets in the snow except those pieces have the Spanish lace embossed pattern on them also. The cake stand is the best piece out of this lot.

:notworthy: You guys (and gals) have taught me quite a bit myself on here.
