I took a half day off work today so I could get some dirt fishing in at a new permission. 5.4 acres and the house was built in the 1820's. No one was home when I went there, so I hit a couple other public sites and tried to hunt a field permission to kill some time. The field was way too wet and the corn stalks from last year are about 18 inches tall. I didn't stay there too long, only pulled 1 target from the field. The valve in the pic of all finds.
After dinner I went to the permission and they were home. I only detected for about 2 hours. I pulled some goodies and eked out my 2nd ever Barber dime. Both are 1902, go figure.
The Brambles on this property make the site we hunted in the mountains of PA look like a manicured lawn.
Both pieces of bling are junk, but always make my heart race when I see one in the hole.
All the digs from the main permission are on the left in the pic below.
All Finds (less trash)
Notables
As always, I hoipe ya'll got out and swung the coil today.
