Went back to the park that I found the 1867 Shield nickle last week, in hopes of finding more old coins. There were a few today, including a very worn 1901 French 5 centimes, and a 1939 wheatie. Also found many pieces of 1800's-1900's lead. There were other widgets and clad littered across the field too! I will have to work this park like a pit bull works a rib....Cheers and Happy Hunting to all of my TNet friends! Sub 8-)

Can anyone tell me if these three, all found in a six-foot circle under a very old tree, are civil-war-era three ringers? They are small, about .38 caliber in diameter. Thanks! Sub 8-)

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

must have been some of those McDonald fries that last for years and turned into something better, pretty cool finds
