FREE MAPS 1867-1970 All states

I've seen this site before...can anyone tell me how to copy the maps so they are readable? The resolution is terrible and I can read very little of the writing on the maps. Thanks

Thanks kindly for the GREAT website!!! :icon_study:  :coffee2: I know what I'll be doing this morning.

Wow apparently I am the only one that knows this link and username and password have been posted in the Maps section for over a year now. You guys need to venture into other parts of the forum sometimes ::) ;D

Thanks again for the link. Maybe I am just bitter because my little town isn't listed lol.

Love the maps!
For anyone that didn't know it, these are fire insurance maps.
They have a wealth of information for anyone looking for great places to hunt. The buildings with an X in them are stables.
I found that I actually had one in my backyard! All I found there were piles of hand cut nails, but........

SlipperyJack,
Try loading the maps as pdf files. I have had great luck opening them in acrobat and zooming in!

Good Luck All!
