Nice frame Terry. Is the blade on the far right, second one down, Novaculite?

Thanks Jon and yes I believe it is. So is the piece in the top left corner. I found them about 5 to 6 miles apart. The material is so similar and rare here that they may have come from the same parent stone.

Very good 'eye' recognizing the Nova Jon. What little I've seen here seems to be somewhat "sheety". Even so, the knapping scars left are fairly well defined as oppose to the quartz/quartzite pieces. It breaks more predictably.
 

Here's a tray of some personal finds from about a 100 yard long stretch of beach on the Ohio River and a picture of some of the better finds. Scioto county Ohio.
