looks like a sports P watch Fob from a Collage or school.

maybe even meant to be FP

It was with a 1780's Winding Avance ****** Swiss Fusee Pocket Watch, & a military wrist watch & another avance ****** pocket watch with gold filled chains & etc

I say definitely Watch Fob.

& although it looks New, My guess early 20th Century,
(off chance late 19th. Century, But doubtful) simply
because there is not a big call for Pocket watch fobs these days,
unless it was a special issue (presentation Gift) gift supplied with the pocket watch

It's not Princeton, Providence, Purdue.

University of Pennsylvania is blue & red - that's my guess.

yes I think the strap definitely goes with a Fob
but you put it on upside down.
