That's cool, I like it!, now you're gonna get all the cut silver you can handle!

SHAAWEEEETT!

Very nice! What were the other options you rejected?

Erik - I had a hard time coming up with something decent, and many were 8 letters which would not fit. They included "hammered", "colcoins", "colonial", "claypipe", "botlseal", and I also thought about "tombac" but that seemed pretty lame. There might have been a couple more that I can't remember, but all things considered I think the one I picked looks best, and certainly fits my profile.

Excellent choice Bill. Really like those plates and very fitting.

I like it, but we should have had a contest for you here  How about DD MAN? :laughing7:

"Hammered" might get you pulled over doing stupid human tricks on the side of the road. How about "Two Bits" or "Lord Balt"?

Nice plate though Bill.

CUTE SLIVER? :laughing7:

Cute Sliver... LOL.

Nice Bill... and it certainly fits you well. Best of luck to you in the field, looking forward to seeing your newest finds.

I guess that's a fitting way to describe those little coins I find, and I'm sure someone will interpret it that way. My wife and I always have fun trying to figure out what some of the personalized plates are saying. And the plate on her car reads "1WY2HEV", which was intended to translate as "One Way to Heaven", but I can't tell you how many folks have thought it was saying "I Weigh Too Heavy" which is hilarious, especially if you know what my wife looks like.

Guess she could have rectified that with the less ambiguous 1WA2HVN :laughing7:

I always wanted to use D4S4D3S but figured no one would decypher/get it.

Nice Bill, I like it.
How about SIFTER????

We tried all possible combinations but all were already taken. And you're right - I have no clue how to decipher that - it's a doozie.

I love the Lord Balt Steve, but it's too many characters unless I went with the standard plate.

I guess you have to be a fan of Steig's books CDB? (See the bee?) and CDC? (See the sea?) where each page is written like that with an illustration. Helps if you read each letter faster. Cool stuff

D4S4D3S = The forest for the trees.......as in you can't see the forest for the trees (the letters) :laughing7:
