Digginman....you should be VERY proud of your daughter. Our children learn by our example and you;ve obviously set a fine example for her and she is to be commended for her caring spirit. What she did is a gift, not a find...but I can think of nothing that is more BANNER material than this totally unselfish and caring act....
The news is full of events that make me wonder about what the future holds for my children, but with people like your daughter the future is more promising...

I don't really know how to respond to this post so I will wing it.

I seen this a few days ago and saved it to my favorites, it is one of the most selfless acts of kindness that I have seen in along time, and to know it came from a child this age has given me a new found hope.

After reading this with many tears I asked Heather to read it, her response was just like mine and ended in tears, not of sorrow but in hope.

Once we collected ourselves we told this story to our son Dylan who is 10 years old and our daughter Kylie who is 7. We showed them the picture of your daughter and they said that is one beautiful person, not only for what she had done, but who she is.

We would like to send your daughter one coin each from our collection, in no way will they replace the gold coin that you gave to her but I'm sure it will be a nice surprise and the giving will keep going.

Please don't be offended by this post, it's just something we as a family would like to do.

If you would P.M. your address we will get them in the mail asap.

Your daughter is amazing and so are you for the values you have instilled upon her!

Great job on raising such a wonderful child!!

Just catching up with everyones postings and came to this one. I would say you have already be rewarded ten fold knowing you have such a generous daughter. This is what the world needs more of and she will grow up to be a thoughtful and careing young lady. You can be very proud of her.
