Found this coin yesterday any thoughts on type on coin or how to clean?

That's where I have lived my entire life.
So.. I won't be giving up my best spots but what I will say is ..research the wrecks and the location of the main ballast piles and position yourself on the beach accordingly ..keeping in mind our beaches are very dynamic and except for hurricanes the majority of storm moved material is from Winter storms with wind and current out of the north.
I just went this morning and while digging a decent signal that turned out to be a broken iron spike..this showed itself in the side of my hole.
