Found this coin deep......almost to China!!

Not really that deep. LOL

Used my little coil and worked through some trashy spots that I've neglected. Managed some wheats, no silver though. I got that Chinese-y looking coin, probably a token, since there is no date on it. It banged like silver-copper, and came out clean, but I doubt it's silver. Any help iding that sucker would be great. Anyway gotta love that snow is holding off!!

Nice digs! The pendant looks pretty neat.Any idea what it's for?
I thought I was doomed a week ago when we got hit with 11 inches of snow here.
It's gone now and the temps are going to be in the 40's and 50's by Thanksgiving Day.
We can be thankful for that and get our butts out there and get some hunting in yet this season. :) Best of luck and HH!

My Japanese is pretty bad , but I think the date is "Showa 40" or 1965 on the western calendar.

Yes Matt, it is Showa 40 ... 1965...According to my book.. worth about $1.00 - $4.00 in good condition.
