Found some gold

Found this about a year ago. I like crystals. But I was actually looking for gold and the rock K pick up has What looks like magnatite or iron ore in it with a small piece of gold. This rock goes off with a metal desined to pickup gold. I will post more of my finds soon.

T P K Let me WELCOME you to a fine forum. How did you find the gold ? Just Luck and research ? Detector ? This one was definitely luck. Was nearly dark and I picked the rock up to look at it. Out quartz littered everywhere I pick this one up. Didn't use a detector, but it does go off with a detector. So im guessing there is a bit more gold inside. And I self trained my self to find gold. Couple years of research. Still learning though. All post a better find tonight or tomorrow. i found a rock that looks like a finger with gold at the tip. Found it a couple years back by picking rocks up and looking at them.
