Finally! Out of 14 buckets ran through my bazooka. Haven't processed the -12 and down yet. IMG_6810.JPG

Really nice. It MIGHT get that big out east here, but I'm not counting on it. My daughter just moved to California, may have to invade her place soon.

Ooo....ahhh.[emoji106]

That is some pretty sexy gold! Did the big pieces try to sit still on the slick plate?

Very few did. Most just rolled right into the catch box and I didn't see them at all until cleanup.

Those are some impressive size flakes! Keep working that area - have you gone very far upstream exploring?

I have. The gold upstream is almost exclusively larger pieces, but almost no fine gold. The big stuff upstream seems to have no rhyme or reason for where it is. Super scattered and random. Further down is almost all fine dust and some flake. But rarely ever a picker. I chose this spot from Google earth due to being about 3/4 of the way between the differences in sizes of gold closer to the bigger gold. I'm still not done with the fines, but my -12 to +30 is chunky with little pickers too. Fat thick flakes so it's been pounded in the river, but not so much that it's paper thin.
