Got out the other day 4/28/2019.First time since fall of 2017.w the Etrac.Did some detecting near Old house where I’ve detected before and thought surely there’s nothing else to be found,I’ve already gone through and found all the good stuff.However I detected a little further out and one of my 1st good Signals turned up a 1939 Washington silver quarter. About a foot away from that hole I got another good signal same as the first silver quarter. I pulled out another silver Washington quarter 1943. Started to swing the coil about 3 feet away from where the quarters were pulled from.I had a high tone and thought Aluminum can?pull tab? Beer bottle cap?Better dig it! Oh boy!!! I hope this is gold. One wipe of the finger and I New I had gold.The silver quarters were already a rush.If this is gold I’m in shock!!But wait.Whats this! Got some stones.HmmmAt this point I’m thinking more about hoping I’ve got gold then anything else..I put it in the pocket w the other two good finds a try to metal detect some more but my jewelers loop is in the car. I can’t wait I got to go to the car and look to see if this is gold with the loop or not. Plain as day 14 karat gold visible w the loop. Now I wash the ring off. Oh man this thing is sparkling, could these be diamonds ??I got to get this thing checked out. To make a long story short I went to two different reputable jewelers in our local mall. After looking it over they both said it is a fine quality and that I have 2 karats worth of diamonds and 14 karat gold and it is worth $3000. Total disbelief.Unfortunatly I ran my hand shovel right through the loop of the ringbut they said they can Easily fix it and size it for $245.Well My is very pleased we are getting it fixed and sized for her.Im still in shock. What a great day of detecting..😊
