Found Roman Coin?

Here's a starter:
"S.C." on the obverse declares that the coin was issued by decree of the Senate (Senatus Consulto). This identifies the coin as a special issue rather than the regular coinage for that year--whatever year this coin was issued.

My guess:
Roman emperor Caligula (37-41 A.D.), depicted (bronze, denom/type: As) (AE As. Obverse: Bust left. C CEASAR DIVI AVG PRON AVG PM TRP IIII PP.
The "DIVI" is evident on your coin and is in the same position as the Caligula coin. And the position and size and position of the head is also the same.
Check out the top left coin here:

The reverse is totally different, but I'll keep the Caligula choice of the obverse.

All I can add is that it is 100% Roman and dates to the 1st or 2nd century.

I can see 'DIVS'

Personally, I'd go more for a Tiberius As-obv. TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AUGUST IMP VIII with a winged caduceus reverse

Crusader says that he can see DIVS on the coin (he must have better eyesight than me).

This web site: http://66.201.77.219/legendsearchexec.asp?legend=DIVS

will tell you all the Roman coins with the inscription DIVS:

Lots of possibilities. Perhaps the owner of the coin could find some more letters and make
use of this web site:

Have fun,
